Commentary
Although Lord Kṛṣṇa is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, out of His causeless mercy He was engaged in the service of His friend. He never fails in His affection for His devotees, and thus He is addressed herein as infallible. As charioteer, He had to carry out the orders of Arjuna, and since He did not hesitate to do so, He is addressed as infallible. Although He had accepted the position of a charioteer for His devotee, His supreme position was not challenged. In all circumstances, He is the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Hṛṣīkeśa, the Lord of the total senses. The relationship between the Lord and His servitor is very sweet and transcendental. The servitor is always ready to render service to the Lord, and, similarly, the Lord is always seeking an opportunity to render some service to the devotee. He takes greater pleasure in His pure devotee’s assuming the advantageous position of ordering Him than He does in being the giver of orders. Since He is master, everyone is under His orders, and no one is above Him to order Him. But when He finds that a pure devotee is ordering Him, He obtains transcendental pleasure, although He is the infallible master in all circumstances. As a pure devotee of the Lord, Arjuna had no desire to fight with his cousins and brothers, but he was forced to come onto the battlefield by the obstinacy of Duryodhana, who was never agreeable to any peaceful negotiation. Therefore, he was very anxious to see who the leading persons present on the battlefield were. Although there was no question of a peacemaking endeavor on the battlefield, he wanted to see them again, and to see how much they were bent upon demanding an unwanted war.
Hinglish Commentary
Bhagwan Krishna, jo ki Supreme Personality of Godhead hain, apni bina kisi wajah ke daya se apne dost ki seva mein lage hue the. Unka apne bhakton ke liye pyaar kabhi kam nahi hota, isi liye unhe yahan infallible yaani ki kabhi na galat hone wale ke roop mein samjha gaya hai. Charioteer ke roop mein unhe Arjuna ke aadesh ko pura karna tha, aur unhone ismein koi jhijhak nahi dikhayi, isliye unhe infallible kaha gaya. Halankeh unhone apne bhakt ke liye charioteer banne ka pad apnaaya, lekin unki supreme position kabhi bhi challenge nahi hui. Har halat mein, woh Hṛṣīkeśa hain, jo ki sabhi indriyon ke prabhu hain. Bhagwan aur unke sevak ke beech ka rishta bahut hi meetha aur transcendental hai. Sevak hamesha Bhagwan ki seva karne ke liye tayyar rehta hai, aur Bhagwan bhi hamesha apne bhakt ki seva karne ka mauka talashte hain. Unhe is baat ka zyada sukh hota hai jab unka shuddh bhakt unhe aadesh deta hai, na ki jab woh khud aadesh dete hain. Kyunki woh master hain, sab unke aadesh ke neeche hain aur koi bhi unse upar nahi hai. Lekin jab unhe pata chalta hai ki ek shuddh bhakt unhe aadesh de raha hai, toh unhe transcendental sukh milta hai, chahe woh har haal mein infallible master hi kyun na ho. Arjuna, jo ki Bhagwan ka shuddh bhakt tha, apne cousins aur bhaiyon se ladne ki koi ichha nahi rakhta tha, lekin Duryodhana ki ziddi ke karan woh battlefield par aane ke liye majboor ho gaya, jo kabhi bhi shanti ke liye samjhota karne ko tayyar nahi tha. Isliye, woh bahut chintit tha ki battlefield par kaun-kaun se pramukh log hain. Halankeh battlefield par shanti ka koi prashna nahi tha, phir bhi woh unhe dobara dekhna chahta tha aur dekhna chahta tha ki woh kitne ziddi hain ek anavashyak yudh ki maang karne mein.
