Bhagavad Gita Chapter 11 Verse 10 — Visvarupa Darsana Yoga

अनेकवक्त्रनयनमनेकाद्भुतदर्शनम् | अनेकदिव्याभरणं दिव्यानेकोद्यतायुधम् ||११-१०||
Transliteration
anekavaktranayanamanekādbhutadarśanam . anekadivyābharaṇaṃ divyānekodyatāyudham ||11-10||
Hindi Meaning
।।11.10।। उस अनेक मुख और नेत्रों से युक्त तथा अनेक अद्भुत दर्शनों वाले एवं बहुत से दिव्य भूषणों से युक्त और बहुत से दिव्य शस्त्रों को हाथों में उठाये हुये।।
English Meaning
Arjuna saw in that universal form unlimited faces, eyes, and wonderful visions. The form was decorated with many celestial ornaments and held many uplifted divine weapons.
Commentary
In these two verses the repeated use of the word many indicates that there was no limit to the number of hands, mouths, legs and other manifestations Arjuna was seeing. These manifestations were distributed throughout the universe, but by the grace of the Lord, Arjuna could see them while sitting in one place. That was due to the inconceivable potency of Kṛṣṇa.
Hinglish Commentary
In in dono shlokon mein "many" shabd ka baar-baar istemal yeh dikhata hai ki Arjuna ne jitne haath, mooh, pair aur dusre roop dekhe, unki koi seema nahi thi. Yeh sab roop poore vishv mein faile hue the, lekin Bhagwan ki kripa se Arjuna ne unhe ek hi jagah baithkar dekha. Yeh sab Kṛṣṇa ki adbhut shakti ka praman tha, jo samajhna mushkil hai.
